1. Leaving Plan B for “later”
Too often the focus stays on branding, content and indoor setups, while cover structures are postponed to the very last weeks. The result? Last‑minute fixes that don’t match the brand image — or, worse, no availability at all.
2. Ignoring guest flow and emergency routes
A true Plan B must consider how people will move if rain or wind arrives: entrances, exits, lounge areas and restrooms need to remain easy to reach, safe and well lit.
3. Underestimating setup and teardown times
A big mistake is thinking a marquee goes up “in no time.” For complex events we often schedule multi‑day builds, depending on venue access windows and other on‑site work.
4. Not sharing the Plan B with other vendors
To work for real, Plan B has to be shared with catering teams, audio‑lighting crews, designers and the venue manager. We build a clear layout together, so everyone follows the same map.
